Here are some of the most common questions I have been asked before.
How would you describe your photography style?
My style is storytelling with a touch of whimsy - soft, emotional, and rooted in real moments. I focus on the connection between you two and the feeling of the day, blending candid moments with gentle direction to create images that feel timeless and true to who you are.
How far in advance should we book you?
Most couples book around 8–12 months before their wedding date, but I always recommend reaching out as soon as you have your venue or date set - especially for summer and fall weddings!
What do your wedding packages start at?
Weddings begin at $3,000, but I know no two love stories are the same. Whether it’s an intimate mountaintop elopement or a full weekend celebration, I love building custom packages that reflect your day and what matters most to you.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely. I’m based in BC but travel all across Canada (and beyond) to capture love stories in every kind of landscape. Travel fees are non existent.
Do you also offer videography?
Sort of! I actually offer 10 - 20 second recap videos via phone for most of my wedding packages. For full videography services, I refer couples to my wonderful friend Kelsey of Faye Films.
Do you help with posing and direction?
Yes! I guide my couples naturally so you never feel awkward or unsure. My goal is to create space for genuine connection - the little laughs, the quiet in-betweens, and everything in between.
What happens if it rains?
Some of my favourite photos happen in the rain! I’ll help you plan for cozy, creative alternatives - and I always come prepared with clear umbrellas and backup locations.
Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes - I love them! Engagement sessions are a great way for us to connect before your big day and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. A lot of my wedding packages include engagement sessions!
What if we’re awkward in front of the camera?
Almost everyone says this - and then ends up having the best time. I’ll gently guide you so it feels more like hanging out with a friend than being photographed. Promise.
Do you offer boudoir sessions?
Heck yes! Due to privacy reasons I do not post most of these sessions.
